Val Hughes
Val has a genuine passion for both the practice and teaching of art. Prior to her retirement from life as a Primary school teacher/arts coordinator, Val successfully guided her school to Artsmark Gold status three times and ran several local ‘arts in the community’ projects. She has attended many courses for teachers of art at the Royal Academy of Art in London and other venues where her skills in developing and using a variety of media were honed and/or established.
Working predominantly as a digital artist and maker of wire sculptures, she produces a diverse range of subject matter.
