Founded in 1964 for all those interested in art in Faringdon and The Vale, Faringdon Art Society (FAS) is run on a 'not for profit' basis and currently has over one hundred members. The Society welcomes anyone with an interest in art, whether two or three dimensional, and they may be a leisure artist, a professional, or just someone that enjoys seeing how artists create their work.

at the Vale & Downland Museum Wantage, in the Dr Squires Gallery.
Open from 9.30am until 3.45pm Mon-Sat . Closed Sundays. Entry to the Museum and exhibition is free.

We have completed four successful, diverse workshops during 2021. 2022 workshops will be circulated once set up in the New Year.
It was exciting to have a return to Trips with a trip to the National Gallery to see Dürer's Journeys at the end of November. Members will be advised of future trips during 2022 in due course.
Artistic Craft Fair - 4 December
Drop-in sessions resume for 7 weeks on Wednesday 15th September at the United Reform Church in Faringdon. Sessions run each week during term time from 10am-12noon. These are open to both members and non-members so if you want to paint in company please come along.
