Our Artisan Craft Fair brings talented makers together who are delighted to talk about their craft, explain what inspired them and how they made such unusual pieces. You may find just the right crafter to make a special gift or something for yourself.
Past fairs have included captivating ceramic pieces, mugs and candle holders; colourful seasonal wreaths; fabric bags and interesting backpacks; stone carvings; fused glass bowls and festive decorations; hand bound journals; gemstones expertly set in silver or gold; delicate porcelain decorations; amusing and imaginative knitted toys; delightful hand sewn quilts; handpainted cards; fine pottery pieces; ranges of hats, caps and beanies; art nouveau pewter; decorative silk flowers; skilled turned or carved wooden articles; petite wire sculptures; creative mosaics; handcrafted fireside bellows; woven vessels in surprising materials and many other distinctive crafted works. It is a fantastic showcase of local talents!

Guidelines
- All sellers must be current members of Faringdon Art Society (FAS)
- An application form is required and will be made available around two months before the Fair. If you would like to be contacted or reminded at that time, please let Jan know: [email protected]
- Once your application is successful the fee of £12.00 per table is payable, in advance, to cover the hire of the hall and publicity
- All items on sale must be your own work. No imported finished goods or simple constructions of manufactured elements; no commercially printed/manufactured items
- Sellers are responsible for their own sales and payment arrangements. There is no commission payable to FAS.
- If selling craft and art, artworks are to be limited to a maximum of five pieces and are not to be the dominant portion of your goods (wall space is not guaranteed)
- Membership ensures venue insurance requirements are met. Note: your own goods are not covered by that insurance.
- Cancellation: If you cancel your booking within two weeks of a fair we will endeavour to fill that place. Until we can, no refund will be made. If we can replace you with someone else, a full refund (less the small merchant fee Square retains) will be made to you.
