Krystyna Dembny
Krystyna (Krysia) has been drawing on and off throughout her life. In 2010, whilst still working as a clinical neurophysiologist, she made the momentous decision to rediscover colour. After several failed attempts at using watercolour as a medium, she found pastels and then oils. Having always been interested in people she naturally turned to portraiture after a fortuitous encounter with Mike Skidmore at one of his workshops. Her love of pastels and much of her training in colour has come from Christine Russell.
She thanks these two amazing individuals as well as her family and friends who have offered to 'sit for her.
