Faringdon Art Society welcomes anyone with an interest in art, artists across a diverse range of media as well as makers.  
​The Society was founded in 1964 and currently has members from Faringdon area, Vale of White Horse and beyond.
​
​"For anyone who has an interest in shape, colour, form, movement, texture and the expression of it in a variety of mediums from paints and pencils to third dimension creativity using clay, metal, stone, pottery and wood, being part of an Art Society can be so inspirational."

An appealing variety of quality craft items and talented makers were found at the Christmas Artisan Craft Fair, prior to turning on of the Christmas tree lights in Market Square on 29 November 2025.
