Painting Figures with Max Hale

On Saturday 3rd November FAS held their first workshop Max Hale, Painting Figures at the United Church. The workshop was oversubscribed and 12 lucky members attended on the day. The morning started with drawing exercises and drawing the sitter accurately using reference points before moving on to creating a painting. Chris Kelly very kindly agreed to be the sitter and she was painted in a variety of styles in oils or watercolours.
