Caroline Greensted
Caroline was born in 1937. She studied art at St Martin's School of Art in London from 1958, specialising in Sculpture. She moved to Oxford in 1960 to study art at the Ruskin School of Arts where it was not possible to study sculpture but she learned traditional fine art. When she was 31 and widowed with two children, she managed to find a job as a studio assistant with Michael Black who was renewing the emperors’s heads outside the Sheldonean Theatre in Oxford. She has exhibited life paintings at O.Hanna’s Gallery, Grosvenor Square in London and life and landscape in Bear Lane Gallery in Oxford and Oxford Library and Borlase Gallery, Blewbury. Although she not longer sculpts she loves painting in watercolour and drawing in many mediums. You can contact her here:
