Shelagh Baxter

 Learning to paint has helped me to look more closely at the world around me. I feel most inspired by colour and the many effects of light in creating shadows, reflections and mood. I enjoy painting landscapes of special places I have visited and portraits of special people and pets! Using a palette knife with oils is helping me to paint more freely and I want to continue experimenting to discover more about colour and tone.
