Discover drawing or sharpen your skills at our next Faringdon Art Society workshop – this is our first ‘real’ workshop following pandemic restrictions.
A fresh start to being allowed out and about after lockdowns is a basic drawing opportunity for everyone! This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as experienced artists that may have lost their momentum during lockdowns or would like the guidance of an experienced tutor.
Art tutor George Boyter will present aspects of and approaches to drawing. Participants will trial a range of drawing materials and papers, then spend an hour each on: Gestural Drawing - Tonal Drawing - Line Drawing - before ending the workshop with a review of work.
The workshop is to be held in the picturesque village of Little Coxwell, in their light and airy village hall (SN7 7LW). There is parking available close by, the pub is a walk away and Faringdon shops a short drive of a couple of miles.
Numbers are limited (11 participants) to ensure a good learning experience, and plenty of elbow room!
